Welcome to the Hairitage Africa Exhibition! These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your attendance, participation, and engagement in the Hairitage Africa Exhibition (“Exhibition”). By attending or participating in the Exhibition, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
**1. General Information**
1.1. Event Dates: The Hairitage Africa Exhibition will take place every December
1.2. Organizer: The Exhibition is organized by Centre for Communication and Culture, hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer.”
1.3. Scope: These Terms apply to all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, and any other individuals or entities participating in the Exhibition.
**2. Registration**
2.1. Attendee Registration: To attend the Exhibition, you must register in advance through the official event website or at the venue, if available. Registration may require payment of a registration fee, as determined by the Organizer.
2.2. Exhibitor Registration: Exhibitors must complete the registration process as specified by the Organizer and adhere to any additional terms and conditions outlined in the exhibitor agreement.
**3. Code of Conduct**
3.1. Respect: All attendees and participants must treat each other with respect and professionalism, irrespective of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
3.2. Harassment: Harassment or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to verbal abuse, offensive comments, unwanted advances, and any form of intimidation.
3.3. Security: Attendees are responsible for the security of their personal belongings and should report any suspicious activity to event staff.
**4. Privacy**
4.1. Photography and Recording: By attending the Exhibition, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional and archival purposes. The Organizer may use such materials without your explicit consent.
4.2. Data Collection: The Organizer may collect and process personal data for registration and event-related purposes. By registering, you consent to such data processing in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
**5. Intellectual Property**
5.1. Ownership: The Organizer and exhibitors retain all intellectual property rights to their materials, products, and content displayed or distributed during the Exhibition.
5.2. Use of Materials: Attendees may not use, reproduce, distribute, or share any materials or content without the explicit permission of the respective rights holders.
**6. Liability and Insurance**
6.1. Liability: The Organizer is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the Exhibition, including theft, accidents, or health-related issues.
6.2. Insurance: Attendees are advised to have their own insurance coverage for any personal property or health-related matters.
**7. Changes and Cancellations**
7.1. Changes: The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Exhibition schedule, speakers, content, and venue as necessary without prior notice.
7.2. Cancellation: In the event of cancellation by the Organizer, attendees may be entitled to a refund of registration fees in accordance with the Organizer’s refund policy.
**8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution**
8.1. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
8.2. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
By attending the Hairitage Africa Exhibition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these Terms may result in removal from the Exhibition without refund.
